Maggie Longmire is one of East Tennessee’s finest artists at home as a folk singer, and blues rocker as well as a roots music writer of songs with evoking lyrics and haunting melodies. Maggie has just released her 2nd CD, Grandaughters - An Americana Opera . The debut of Granddaughters was a sell out at the Laurel Theater.

"Teachers and Travelers", Maggie's first solo project was the receiver of the Knoxville Metro Pulse Best Album of the year award.

In addition to performing solo, she frequently teams with acoustic band Free Soil Farm and with The Lonesome Coyotes, a honky-tonk swing band.
